Rapid Assembling Approach Based On Feature And Its Application In Structure Design For Feedback-source

Presently, the industry and enterprise are confronted with the new challenge of global market, international manufacture and varieties of requirements. The competition among enterprises in time, quality and cost is more and more scorching. The development of new production and its response to market is the key factor to get ahead in severe competition. Assembling is one of the important work in researching and developing new products. So improving assembling efficiency is effective way to improve efficiency of manufacture and designing. A rapid assembling approach based on assembly feature make assembly more simple and intellectualized It also ameliorates mode of assembly operation, make designers assembling rapidly, distinctly and accurately. So these have important theory meaning and project using value.In this paper, the main idea and domestic-overseas present status of rapid assembling are described. It points out the disadvantage of traditional assembly technology, puts forward a rapid assembling technology which is based on assembly feature(Rapid Assembling Based on Assembly Feature). The paper expatiates theories associate with rapid assembling, including the idea of feature assembling, expression of assembly feature, expression method of constraint semantic, denotation of assembly based on assembly feature, constraint conversion and so on. A prototype system which based on assembly feature is realized. The system contains Pro/E parametric models, and can implement rapid assembling of feedback source. Paper also introduces the key technology to realize this system.
