As the sign of modern industry and the embodiment of automation, the intelligence robot represents the direction of new technology. It plays more and more important roles in application of industry and scientific research. The intelligent robot device based on DSP is developed for the reasons mentioned above. And it has important meanings in the cultivation of robot talents.The device has the functions of vision and motion and it can recognize and track targets to realize the intelligent control. At the same time the modular and scalable design is considered.Firstly, according to the requirements, the system is divided into four independent modules, which are designed separately. The four modules are as follow: the controlling module with TMS320VC5416 DSP chip as its core, the visional module using CMOS camera chip named HV7131E1, the data transferring module using USB2.0 chip named CY7C68013 and the motion controlling module. These modules are connected through expanding interface circuits. And then the paper carries on the PCB design and solves some problems in the high-speed circuit design, such as the problems of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility.The design realizes a teaching facility of intelligent robot which can be assembled in module. It satisfies the need of talents cultivation concerning with robot.
