The Process Data Management Solution Of Hydro Processing Catalyzer Evaluate Units

This paper analyzes the problems in the application of MicroPROVOX control system of Fisher-Rosemount Company in RIPP. It proposes and executes the solution in accordance to the need of the customer. This solution is advanced and saving. Based on the original MicroPROVOX control system, a process data management has been constructed with PCs, servers, industrial control software, and network technologies. Operators can get real-time data and alarm message from the new data management system. The process data management system provides real-time and historical reports and trends. It is capable of carrying out the communication with DCS as well as the gathering, processing, and archiving of 8 sets of hydro processing catalyzer evaluation units. With the system, the customer can browse the real-time data through the network. The system also realizes the sharing of history data, as the customers are able to query and access the history data on the data servers. Through the data management system, the technical level of the original system is greatly enhanced as the incompatible, isolated control system has been upgraded to an open network system capable of information sharing.
