Thermoelectric refrigeration is also called semiconductor refrigeration or temperature difference refrigeration. The material with thermoelectric-energy conversion properties, have the refrigeration function by input direct current, so it is called thermoelectric refrigeration. Because of semiconductor material having the best thermoelectric properties, they make the thermoelectric refrigeration practice, for that people also call the thermoelectric as semiconductor refrigeration. Thermoelectric modules are high hot-flow devices. Three caloric effects, i.c. the Peltier, Fourier and Joule effects play a part in the process of refrigeration cycle, in which the Peltier effect is the most important one. As a new kind of developing refrigeration technology, the semiconductor material are widely used in many technology fields and developed quickly. The semiconductor material with good thermoelectric properties can improve the thermoelectric refrigeration efficiency and locate the thermoelectric refrigeration into engineering practice. Now, thermoelectric refrigeration has been applied in national defense, industry and ordinary life etc. This new refrigeration technology is different from traditional refrigeration. They don't need refrigerant and complex machinery and pipe system. They are new branch of refrigeration technology and solve a lot of problems in special condition. The applications of thermoelectric refrigeration have vast prospects.With the development of science and technique, the control theories have been continuously renewing and varying. From the earlier period's classic control theories to the sixty-seventy year' modern control theories based on the state-space described.
