CUGB Office Automation System Based On .NET

Office Automation System is a trend for modern office. With the usage of modern tool and method, it will improve the efficiency greatly. It is a great challenge to found modern office automation system with taking advantage of Internet.Being the platform which manages the campus network, CUGB office automation system has the responsibility of lots of information management. Currently used office system is based on ASP technology. Although ASP has made great success in developing network system, the limitation itself will lead to low performance and poor expandability. This system also lacks in functional structure.Based on efficient analysis of requirement of CUGB network office system, this paper will develop a set of network office system based on .NET structure technology. This system will fully implement current function, and then upgrade it and improve its function. It will make network office scientific, standard, information and automation. It can also improve office efficiency and benefit work quality.This system takes advantage of Object Oriented Technology, and is based on B/S three levels structure and .NET structure. With using C# language and SQL Server database, it accomplishes the office automation system. Besides, it will improve robustness by role customization and security policy. The main job and achievement of this paper will be listed as follows:1. Find out what is needed to be update or expand after analyzing former system function. And then make total system design for the new system, including function improvement requirement, job logic, system function module design and database analysis.2. Using the technology of Computer Network, the designing ideas of Office Automation System, and the method of software engineering, fix the technologic method and developing environment for the system.3. Accomplish the development of this system, which includes seven modules. Use separate design mode in system function and user interface design, which makes job policy change in background apart from user interface change at a certain extent. Assure the expansibility of system design.4. Focuses on the key technologies in system design, including database accessing, data caching, static variable of .NET, function improvement of ASP.NET, security design and accomplishment.
