The paper discusses how to build the platform of data warehouse of investment evaluation in the example of Taihang Mountain Afforestation Program. On the base of the platform, data-mining is applied to settle out the problem of investment evaluation and afforestation indices evaluation in multi-dimension. All these solutions provide data support for checking to investigate projects and provide the important basis to decide how to re-invest.The paper also discusses the scheme of Data Analysis System of Taihang Mountain Afforestation Program. And how to build data warehouse, how to build the model of data-mining, how to realize the system also be studied. First, the author analyzes the workflow in the engineer, brings forward the scheme of the Data Analysis System and programs the total system;Secondly, according to the aim of the system, the author tries to build the data warehouse model of the project which comprises subjects -investment and indices of afforestation. The original data is extracted, cleaned and transacted to build data warehouse. All these works are the basis of data analysis later;Thirdly, on the basis of the data warehouse, the text discusses knowledge-mining. The methods of summary analysis and cluster analysis are applied. Projects in Shanxi province in 2000, as an example, is analyzed in detail.At last, keeping to the thinking of software project, with the tool of ASP.NET and SQL Server 2000,the author completes the diagram analysis and realizes the model of data-mining. The ante-type system is achieved primarily.To summarize, the paper discusses the application of data warehouse and data-mining in forestry E-Government. The scheme, the model of data analysis and the methodology have certain benefit for other fields.
