The Design And Implementation Of Campus Network

Education information is an important component in the process of national economy and social information. Educational modernization driven by information for the purpose of educational interchange development has become the strategive choice in China's educational development. The implementation of "national western campus's computer network construciton" has been facilitating the information construciton of western higher education, especially on the campus basic network construction. The paper based on the background of Chongqing Jiaotong University's network project which is one of the western campus program, introduces the overall design, implementation and some key technologies for the reference of tertiary educational network construction.Firstly, it briefly introduces current situation of educational information home and abroad with focus on the purpose and significance of the national westeren campus network construction project.Secondly, it defines the campus network, constructive stage of network hardware based on the information system and virtual campus constrution, presenting the conception of informationized campus, structure and the ultimate purpose of the construction.It also places the Chongqing Jiaotong University's network construction as the original version, introducing the needs analysis of network system,the guidance and the pricipals for construciton. It discusses specific network communicative platform and network management platform as well as the designing examples of network safety platform. It offers detailed planning and design of triple-tier structure, IP address planning, VLAN partition and the choice of backbone network technology at the network communicative platform designThe paper focuses on the design of campus network route protocol.It introduces the gengeral situation of route protocol applied in the network and the working pricipal of OSPF route protocol.
