The Hilbert Transformer used at present adopt Finite Impulse Response(FIR) digital filter which used as a Pulse Shaping Filter popularly at present has the disadvantages such as high orders.So we present a new approach to design the IIR Hilbert Transformer,whose basic unit is general parameter filter.This paper has been divided into three parts. Part 1, the basic theories of multirate digital signal processing and digital filter banks have been reviewed. On the basis of Part 1,Part 2 - IIR Hilbert Transformer theory is introduced.Part 2,Using the general parameter filter which can consider the phase character as the unit of orthogonal filter banks,we present a new method for designing IIR Hilbert Transformer with the guidance of the professor Zemin Liu.To prove this theory's facility,the simulation results are given as follow.Part 3, we make a simulation to verify it.Part 2 and Part 3 are the central contents of this article.
