Recently,Software Radio is a hot point,it was thought to be the developing direction of the future communication or even the radio technology.Because of the limit of high speed ADC or DAC,the software radio system often use middle course,the method is processing baseband signals after adding special frequency conversing circuit to converse signals from RF frequency band to base band.ASIP DSP (Application specific instruction set DSP processors) is suitable for the baseband processing development,it has the programmble character of DSP core,and remains the advantages of short develop period and high efficiency of ASIC through the optimized architecture and instruction set for application.This paper has two points.One point is researching the arithmetic of channel estimation and channel equalization for 802.11b protocol.which is suitable for the implement on DSP.The chosen method is correlation with the spreading sequence(despreading) for channel estimation and FIR filter for channnel equalization.After that,this paper realize and simulate the arithmetic in MATLAB.The other point is formed a environment for realization based on ASIP DSP,writed the firmware program .simulated and debugged the program, realize the transmitter and receiver of 802.11b system,and the transmitter of 802.11a system.At last this paper optimized the implement based on the architecture of ASIP DSP.
