Now new voltage and frequency adjusting equipment come true continuously in the fields of training and technology education in China and abroad. Although various equipments adjust magnetizing current to control generator voltage, reactive power, adjust input power of drive machine(steam turbine, DC motor) to control generator frequency, active power, but most of the equipments operated by angle control as controllable converter. They have lower precision and large time constant, need adjustment time after time.Power electronic technology naissanced in the last half part of 21 century, develop rapidly to provide electric basic components and important technology support, bring out tremendous force to electric modernization. This Master's thesis is about the problem above. After studying and investigating the most popular PWM controlling technology, I practice it in handling of Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) switching converters, simulate the controlling of synchronous generator magnetizing and prime drive input power.I make use of electrical measuring technology and auto-control theoretics, design the integration circuit of PWM controlling switching converter, which control MOSFET, combine the main circuit with interface system, achieve my aims for adjusting generator voltage , frequency and power. The applications of this production, accelerate the studying of generator active power and reactive power adjustment, enable researching the steady operation of generator and electric system, boost the construction of steady grid, bring up more human resource for national economy and electric enterprise, provides students with valuable pre-job information, and makes the subject matter much more interesting with the inclusion of real industry applications.In this subject, the hardware system uses the SG3524 of America Silicon General Corperation, the MOSFET IRFP460 of America International Rectifier Corperation, DC motor-synchronous generator of Shijiazhuang Ruite Electrical Equipment Company in Hebei province. Repeated experimentations time after time, it can be proved that the system has acquired the preferable performance and the thesis has obtained good results.
