Medical micro image processing is a kind of new technology which has developed for 30 years recently. The auto-recognizing of pathogen micro image is one research task of micro image processing. At present, the way of analyzing the gonorrhea micro cellular image is collecting the smear and recognizing it artificially, which remains several imperfectness such as high error ratio, low work efficiency and so on.In order to improve the above problems, this paper applied the computer image processing technology to the analysis and recognition of gonorrhea micro cellular image, researched several related cellular image's problems such as preprocessing, segmenting, feature extracting and recognizing.In the preprocessing step, the paper construed and compared different methods of image's gray transformation and enhancement, determined to adopt the Weight-Mean method to transform the color image to gray one and adopt the Median filter to purify the gray image's noises.The segmenting step of cellular image is critical for recognizing of micro image, and the research of segmenting algorithms is the keystone of this paper. After a detail construe of algorithms which were commonly used both interiorly and overseas, the paper stressed the research of the two-dimensional OTSU segmenting algorithm in accordance with the characters of the gonorrhea micro cellular image. For the purpose of reducing the computing complexity and decreasing the computing time, by taking advantage of the inner and outer edge information, the paper proffered an adapted two-dimensional OTSU segmenting algorithm based on the image's edge which restricted the two-dimensional threshold's selecting scope, and applied the proposed algorithm in the segmentation of gonorrhea micro cellular image.
