Networked Control Systems (NCS) are feedback control systems in which signal is transmitted through networks. Sensors, actuators and controllers in such systems are interconnected through networks. Packet dropout, time delay are an uncertainties make the study much complicated. This thesis study stability issue and design problem for a class of networked control systems using switching.Firstly, we survey issues of networked control systems, recent developments and Problems, we also give a brief introduction of switched systems. Then, we study the reliable control problem in presence of actuator failures for networked control systems described by discrete switched systems. By applying controller switching and average dwell time method we give sufficient conditions in terms of LMIs, and design method of controllers.Based on analysis of features of networked control systems and existing modes, we establish switching models of a class of networked control systems. For uncertain discrete switched networked control systems, we study stabilization problem via output feedback, conditions of quadratic stability are derived via matrix inequalities, stabilizing controllers are also designed. Finally, we summarize the results of the thesis and point out problems for future study.
