Research On Quality Control Of Proofreading For Chinese Medical Journal Of Colleges And Universities

The medical journals of colleges and universities are the main part of Chinese medical academic journals,responsible to transmit medical information and conducive to the development of medical technology and social progress. With the rapid development of medical technique and flourishing of periodical industry,the prime issue is how to improve the quality of medical academic journals. The control of editorial quality is the guarantee to improve the quality of medical journals,and the proofreading,the last editing process before sending to press,is the final check in the whole editing process. Therefore, the control of proofreading quality is meaningful in improving the quality of medical journals of colleges and universities. Owing to many factors influencing proofreading quality,the effectual management that will actually promote the proofreading quality is the heat topic in the periodical research.This paper reviews the principle of comprehensive quality control theory in analyzing proofreading quality and the proofreading status of domestic medical journals of colleges and universities,as well as investigates the influential factors of proofreading. Based on the methods of document comprehensive analysis,contrast analytic method,questionnaire,statistical method and case survey,I analyze the influential factors of proofreading and control methods.
