Wireless sensor network was also one of research hotspots based on multiples technology including semiconductor technology, computing technology and communication technology. As a tangible technology of Ubiquitous Computing Mode, sensor network can provide people with any interested information whenever and wherever, considering micro computing devices will be embedded into various environments to collect relative information and process it, or communicate with each other. But there are many disadvantages of traditional wireless sensor network such as signal interfere, more power wastage and higher efficiency Routing arithmetic. A new wireless communication technology with higher rate bit and reliability is needed to realize communications between nodes especially in intelligent home application since there is strong multi-track affection and multimedia application is needed.UWB is just a wireless communication technology satisfied all requirements. The main advantage of UWB wireless communications was described in such words as higher bit rate, lower power spectral densities, exceptional multi-path immunity, simple structure and low probability of detection. In these researches and applications background this thesis designed a new UWB sensor network, based on mass research in UWB and sensor network technology, to improve traditional wireless sensor network performance with the advantages of UWB.This thesis can be divided into three parts except the introduction of the significance for design a sensor network based on UWB. At the beginning the background was introduced as foundation of this thesis...
