Researching Of The Human Computer Interface Based On Media Equation Theory

Researching of the Human-Computer Interface has made an enormous leap with rapid development of information age and global information industry. The interface is the window of the human-computer interaction. But there is little professional design principles and methods in this domain. That's why some interfaces are difficult to use whereas the powerful function. With a view to learnable and usable Human-Computer Interface including software, web, and interactive interface, some design factors and principles related to interactive design, such as display and control, were proposed with media equation theory. The central works in this paper proceed as follows.Firstly, design of Human-Computer Interface was systemically researched in the paper. Design essentials of Human-Computer Interface and design principle of human interface were proposed with knowledge of display features of vision and audition about Human-Computer Interface, human attention features, brain's capability of simultaneous proceeding and the three-hierarchy model of behavior.Secondly, related to the four basic elements of the design of everyday things, i.e. pre-design usage, restricted factor, matching and feedback, applying media equation theory to the study of HCI, the details of interface design were discussed. It provided significant reference to HCI design.Thirdly, estimation of the interface was measured to verify the principles of HCI. The mathematic model was found with the fuzzy comprehensive estimation. It concluded how to transfer the design elements to data's diagram of the fuzzy comprehensive elements.Finally, research on holistic layout and design of keyboard was carried out. It emphasized convenience and rationality, especially about relocation of Back Space key, layout of edition-orientation block and number- assistance block.
