Research On Heterogenous Data Resource Integration System Based On XML And Used In Civil Aricraft Area

With the development of computer technology, the research of heterogeneous data integration has become a hotspot. The system of data integration provides uniform interface to a lot of data sources, so operators don't have to consider the heterogeneity among them. For the capacity of describing structural and semantic information, it is significant to import XML into data integration.This paper introduces the research of data integration based on XML, which is applied on civil aircraft. It focuses on heterogeneous schema integration and query decomposing in this area, then develops a prototype. The main work of this paper is as follow:1. XML schema is used to express the schema of all data source, and the heterogeneity will be found by comparing the XML schema, then the global schema will be received by eliminating the heterogeneity, finally the mapping rule between them is generated.2. The xpath query based on global schema is decomposed into many queries based on local schema, and xpath will be mapped into SQL and then results from data sources will be transformed into XML.3. Building the prototype data integration system of civil aircraft, introducing mediated structure of this system. Furthermore, information of structure, class, interface of each layer is described also.The work of this paper will build the infrastructure for developing perfect data integration system of civil aircraft.
