Inthese decades, with the constant progress of the apparatus maintenancemanagement idea, apparatus maintenance has already developed fromafterwards trouble maintenance to the preventative maintenance which putsemphasis on maintaining in advance, and then further developed intoenterprise assets management of lifespan. Meanwhile, different kinds ofadvanced management modes are moving to maturity constantly too, suchas the whole apparatus maintenance which gives play to staff activity, andregarding behavioral analysis as the core, setting up reliable managementmode of procedure system which comes from the function, the trouble, thedependability and the result, etc. The information technology revolutionstarting from 20th century intermediate stages has brought the technologyinnovation of the field of plant maintenance. Enterprise asset managementsystem becomes one of the indispensable management tools of intensiveenterprise of assets more and more.The enterprise asset management system gradually appears in the1980s and moves towards the mature one which is always to state face theinformation solution of intensive enterprise. its predecessor is themaintenance of equipment management system which computerizes(Computerized Maintenance Management System, is called CMMS).Theenterprise asset management system is a set of advanced managementinformation system, which takes the property as the core and the serviceflow as the principal chain, covering property life cycle each link. Throughthe EAM system implementation, we will be able greatly to improve themanagement way of the enterprise interior property, lengthen the life ofequipment, reduce the operation cost and provide the highly effectivecooperation, enhance security and efficiency which the worker will do,reduce the down time, the control maintenance cost, reduce the componentsstock and the expense, enhance the purchase efficiency, fully use theequipment, the facility, the manpower and other resources. It can reduce theartificial loss, enhance the working efficiency, provide reliable guarantee forleadershipmacro-scientific policy-making.
