Research On Security Of Public-Key Encryption RSA And Implementated With FPGA

With the rapid development of IT technology, people depend on it increasingly, as a result, information security is getting more and more important. Meanwhile, products that ensure network information show a great prospect due to the importance of transmitting data by network safely, and as an important means of information security, cryptography must be lifted.The main work of this dissertation includes research on security of RSA encryption, designs and implementation of RSA with FPGA and so on.RSA acts great important role in all kinds of security and authentication fields, such as security in web server, browser, Email,Telnet and all kinds of credit cards. Hardware Encryption, as a hotspot of RSA, has unparalleled superiority in high speed and strong security, so the research is very constructive and meaningful.Researches are made to the security of RSA. At first, general analysis was also made to RSA cipher. Some of these algorithms were optimized and ameliorated. Results show that these measures are helpful to rapid implementing of RSA. Besides, some means that stop attacks are introduced through these researches.Works of the implementation of RSA with FPGA mainly includes, completing the partition of the total architecture, describing of circuits using Verilog HDL at RTL level ,implementing the function of data encryption, solving quite complex operation such as multiplication, division, mod .Implementing ways and simulation results were given in this dissertation. Developing tools in design is ISE 7.1. At first, input all the designing files, secondly, carry on entire compilation and conduct simulation in logic and in sequence using Modelsim, then some steps like translate, map, place and route. After getting a configuration file anddownload it to FPGA chip,the function of encryption are implemented. Encryption results are the same to output calculated by mathmatics software on PC completely.
