Research Of Collaboration Awareness In Collaboration Design System

With the global competitions, the manufactures are facing the all-time challenges. Traditional design models have been far away from satisfying the rapid market demands. Considering the diversity and individuation of rapid market demanding, the enterprises should use the net-centered information technologies and the "new design and manufacture models to improve theirs immanent competitions. In order to transfer design resources distributed in clime rapidly, a collaborative design model based on local enterprises and distributed enterprises is necessary. Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Computer Supported Cooperative Design (CSCD) exactly in this case arose at the historic moment. CSCD is a cross discipline. The research scope is widespread that involves the multitudinous research content, however, it is insufficiently perfect at present and there are many challenges to solve, especially collaboration awareness.This thesis focuses on collaboration awareness. On the basis of analysis and summarization of relative research findings at home and abroad, a systematic exploration of collaboration awareness in CSCW system has been made in this paper. On the basis of Doctor CAD, a CAD system framework based on CSCW is developed. And on this framework, "Task Management Module", "Filtration of Awareness Information Module" and "Awareness Method Module" are schemed out based on the character of CSCW system. This system framework offers us a new way to solve collaboration awareness between coordination members. At last, an awareness tool — MiniMap is implemented on the new Doctor CAD system .Then, "the strength scale of awareness" and "the scheduler of awareness" are added in the application.Using the new Doctor CAD system, coordination members can realize collaboration awareness when they are modifying the design .So this system can reduce the degree of difficulty of development of the design, and raise the development period of the whole design.
