3D Technique In Arts And Crafts Protection And Development

The research and design of digital display-oriented 3D engine for folk artware,which aims at improving the protection of folk artware, is presented in this paper.Information of a 3D model ,such as geometry,texture,position and sight angle ,can be packaged and described by this engine based on OBJ. The application of multitexture mapping technique in 3D display is also presented, which stereoscopic the surface texture of 3D models in recent technical conditions,so that models will be more true to nature.It should be point out that it is a new way of digital display for artware,presented in this paper,which based on OBJ 3D model & texture mapping technique. Through building 3D models of artware with OpenGL.the applicability of 3D CG technique in protection of folk artware has been researched. The results also presented in the paper.
