Vision measurement is an applying technology of machine vision theory in the measurement field, which has been as popular at home as well as researched further and applied widely abroad. With the ratio of computer hardware and performance increasing, the relative technology developing, the character of flexibility, fast speed, non-contact, high precision and high degree of automation, the computer vision measurement will be applied on more fields. With the base theory image processing, Camera image and calibration in vision measurement are studied. Researches are mainly focused on the following aspects:Firstly, the base theory of numerical image and the base technique of image processing are introduced. Such as image enhancement, image partition etc. Pixels coordinates of particular point are provided through image processing in plane model.Secondly, the perfect project transformation and the radial alignment constraint mode of video cameras in vision measurement is introduced. The lens distortions having influence on the quality of images are studied and a few math models of usually used are presented.Thirdly, several methods of 3D vision camera calibration are researched, on which the calibration process of single-plane is optimized. That is on the radial alignment constraint condition, the image scale factor has been calibrated, The camera external parameters effective focal length and the radial lens distortion can been calibrated through the linear algorithm. It also is proved by experiments.Lastly, the steps of structured-light plane calibration and general error analyses are provided, according to the single-plane calibration of camera.
