Digital Image Process and Computer Vision are always a major field of ComputerScience and the use of it in production and everyday life has promote much more effect.aDigital zooming and edge detection can be utilized for many tasks.In this paper, we discuss two parts in the view of the different effects to image process:The first part, we compare of the different operators of the edge detection, a new kind ofmedialness is derived, which is based on the traditional medialness and the wavelet scalespace. Compared with the available algorithms, this new method can not only reducecomputation but also enhance the edges of the images, which is beneficial to image furtherprocessing. The second part, we introduce the traditional methods of digital image magnified,a novel image magnified method based on wavelet modulus maxima is propose to preserveedge information better, This paper provides a new edge-preserving algorithm based onwavelet transform and EDILC. Experiment results show many merits such as adaptability,edge preserving and lower computational complexity are contained in method.
