An antenna part and a RF power amplifier part of shockwaves wireless datacommunication testing system are designed mainly in this thesis.The system is applied indemolition testing and controlling occasion.Microstrip patch antenna is a kind of radiation structure with compact and simpleconfiguration, which can be manufactured easily. It can be used in many portable devices.Thedesigned antenna part just adopted microstrip patch antenna.The thesis mainly deals with thefollowing aspects:Firstly, analyzed the basic theory and design method of microstrip patchantenna. Secondly, accoding to transmission line model theory, came up with an antennawhich works at 2.4GHz. Finally, simulated the antenna with the HFSS and ADS simulationsoftware.Simulation results show that all design demand is met basically.RF power amplifier is one of the important part in the wireless data communicationsystem.The design, simulation and realization of RF power amplifier are analyzed in thisthesis. Firstly, analyzed the power amplifier design method in theory. Secondly, analyzed anddesigned the power amplifier in the circuit mode, biasing point linearity, input and outputmatching circuit. Finally, simulated the biasing circuit , input and output matching circuit withthe ADS software. The simulated results show the realization of designed power amplifiercircuit.
