A Study On The Computer Control System For Water Flow Calibration Facilities Based On MCGS

The flow calibration facility is widely used as the experimentaldevice. There are lots of work on meter calibration during new productdevelopment in the company of flow meters manufacture. It is veryimportant for scientific research and manufacture for researching anefficient water flow calibration facility .The traditional flow calibration facility used in manual work orsemiautomatic operate. The operation is complex, the data of calibrationis handworked record, the result is calculated by manual, and the controlof sampling's synchronization isn't easy , besides the running speed isslow, the efficiency is low. All these limit work productivity to beimproved.With the above questiones existed in the flow calibration facility,the main works I have done is shown as follows:1 A water flow calibration facility including both weighing method andmaster meter method is discussed, which improves the calibrationefficiency.2 Our work is to design the computer control system of flow calibrationfacilities based on MCGS . The control system of this facility can completemany functions, such as the calibrations of flow calibration facility andflow meter, data save, inquiry of historic data, record and print, andso on. 3 This computer control system have friendly interface ,it is very easyfor operator to operate this system. This computer control system isaccording to it's verification regulation,it is able to automaticallycomplete the calibration.4 It is able to calibrate or test different various velocity typeflowmeters and variable area flowmeter using the static weight method andthe master meter method, and also realized the on-line calibration of themaster meter .5 This project design a calibration system based on MCGS for anintelligent variable area flowmeter.The experimental data obtained in laboratory of flow of Tianjinuniversity proved that the computer control system for water flowcalibration facility based on MCGS has good stability, efficiency andaccuracy , moreover it has extensive practical value.
