Color management is an important way to realize high quality reproduction of multicolor among different devices. Accurately communicating and reproducing color information have always been being the color management system's target and an important subject for study among different devices. Since scanner and CRT monitor are important display input and display device of computer, it is a significant and absolutely indispensability work to investigate their characteristics.On the basis of investigating the characteristics of the appearing color of scanner and CRT monitor, in this paper, the method of line-octree subarea calibration based on polynomial regression has been used for the scanner color calibration. At the same time, geometrical interpolations algorithm and polynomial regression algorithm have been used for color space conversion between RGB color space and CIE lab color space respectively. For color being unanimous in different device, firstly, the modeling of converting scanner color space has been investigated, then CIE lab color space is used as a media color space to realize the gamut mapping among different devices, at last, three stimulate value of CRT monitor are modified according, until getting the excellent color matching effect between the scanner and the CRT monitor. In order to easily understand the disaccord of color gamut among different devices, color gamut of device has realized three-dimensional real color visualization.In this paper, a software of the color management system of computer input/display devices is developed under the environment of Microsoft Visual C++6.0 based on the operating system of Windows XP. At the same time, OpenGl functions are used to realize the color gamut visualization. As a result, the thesis is of great value to the further research on the color management system and the designed software has certain applied values in the input and display filed of computer.
