There are many large complex systems in nature that can be described by networks, and the Internet is just a typical complex network. The investigation into the influence of the Internet topological structure on the stationary and transient behaviors of virus spreading has become an important part for the research on spreading dynamics. By the investigation on the topological structures of complex networks and virus spreading in specific topological structure and the numerical simulations of virus spreading transient properties on random networks and scale free networks, the relation between topological structures of complex networks and virus spreading behaviors and spreading characteristics on different networks are found, which can supply favorable help for virus detection and resistance. This paper aims at the research on stationary and transient properties for virus spreading and makes some investigation and exploration from the following two aspects:On the one hand, the current concerned topological structures and virus spreading models on complex networks home and abroad are investigated and discussed. In this part the topological structures of complex networks and research status quo for virus spreading are introduced concretely, and some current virus prevalence models are summarized in detail and advantages and disadvantages of different models are evaluated. Then stationary characteristics of virus prevalence on complex networks are analyzed and summarized, based on which the network virus spreading properties on networks with different topological structures are introduced from the perspective of critical value. On the other hand, this paper uses random networks and scale free networks as research targets. The transient process of virus prevalence is defined, and transient simulation process is described concretely. The transient properties are studied by laying the emphasis on the influence of initial infected ratios on virus spreading. By Matlab simulation tool, the simulation investigations on SIS model are made on scale free networks generated by BA model, Internet and random networks respectively from the perspective of fixed and alterable virus effective prevalence rates. Last the simulation results are analyzed and compared and the research work is summarized, and the future work prospect is presented. In this paper the simulation idea for virus transient analysis and some correlative conclusions for the influence of initial infect ratios on transient properties of virus spreading on networks with differenttopological structures are presented, which can hopefully supply effective methods for the establishment of strategies aiming at effective prevention and control of virus spreading.
