As China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO), reform in telecommunication industry has continued to deepen. The market of telecommunication in China has gradually become rational, and the competition is aggravated day by day. The way of service provided from telecommunication enterprises will be undergoing historical profound changes , which includes all aspect of the service such as the content, the method , the object, the quality and the consciousness of service. For the growth of customer scale and service type, traditional counter service mode has been unable to satisfy with the current situation, other service mode must be introduced into this filed. Self-service , a kind of new-type mode, is produced in order to alleviate the service demand increased sharply.The existing self-service systems are at the starting stage, whose scale is relatively small. These systems generally adopt the traditional customer /server mode, but little consideration on system's expandability, reliability etc. is unfavorable to systematic expansion.The thesis studys how to structure a kind of interactive telecommunication self-service platform ,using a trade middleware-BEA TUXEDO. Firstly, it analyses the current situation in world and at home in self-service mode ,and introduces the basic conception of middleware, XA protocol ,two-phase commit protocol and the structure, function and characteristic of TUXEDO.Secondly, the thesis emphasizes on the design and implementation of interactive self-service platform based on TUXEDO and the structure and shortcoming of current self-service systems are also analyzed . Then this thesis introduces the design principle about the new platform, topological structure of the network, logic structure and function model . Using an abstract way, implementation of the platform's main function is described.At last, the performance of platform is analyzed by the test-data on the platform's load. And the author introduces how to realize load balanceand fault-tolerantly,puts forward several kinds of optimal methods of performance.
