| DVD Focus servo controller and signals processing circuit board is an important part of DVD driver and manager SOC (System On Chip). The core technology is centralized in a few abroad large foreign businesses. This research owns the independent Intellectual Property and provides strong technical support and the wide market foreground for engraved DVD product. It also lays foundation for the development of blue light technology.The paper completes the designing of DVD signals processing circuit board, mainly used for adjustment and processing signals, which is embed into the SOC with Candence tool. Its main function is converting test signals, data signals and engraved signals into digital signals according to the request of the servo control, and switch digital drive signals to analog drive signals for drive board. Through the practical test, the convert board designed in the paper can achieve the above functions well. It also has very high anti-jamming ability and Electro Magnetic Compatibility.In this paper, the DVD servo control software which mainly includs the calculation of focus error, the mistake examination, focus acquiring, layer switching and signal outputs etc., is developed. Through the analyzing of DVD smooth control and optimize control arithmetic, the DVD focus servo control completes the focus coil's accurately controlling, layer switch controlling, signals error detecting and focus faults detecting and other functions. The system can exactly control OPU to focus on the information track with other servo control software under experimental condition.This board is already through testing in the laboratory. The result indicates that it has excellent Electro Magnetic Compatibility and signals conversion ability. Focus servo control software has also been tested under experimental condition. It can focus on the information dots exactly with other servo control softwares. The DVD SOC is being on integrated test. Its level has already attained the foreign equal chip. |
