The digital watermark is divided into text watermark, image watermark, audio frequency watermark and video frequency watermark from the carrier situation. At present, the digital watermark technology research has obtained the quite gratifying achievement already and its application already permeates many aspects of life. This article conducted the research and the discussion mainly on the related situation on video frequency watermark technology.The research and the development on video frequency watermark are quite rapid, but its application is not that mature compared with the text watermark and the image watermark,Its application mainly manifests in the following aspects: for instance, Copyright Protection, Digital Fingerprint, Copy Protection, Broadcast Monitoring, Data Authentication, Title and Indexing, safe Covert Communication and so on.From the studies on algorithm, there are also many relatively mature video frequencies watermarks algorithm at present, as stated in the text, but most of the research on watermark algorithm has not integrated with the practice application.Integrating with the union numeral watermark technology, this article conducts the research and the model experiment directed mainly at broadcast monitoring application in digital television.The article discusses two kinds of application of broadcast monitoring, television signal monitoring and advertisemen monitoring.The intention of the television signal monitorint is:(1)Solving the problems on all sorts of the inconvenience in manual monitoring through the automatic monitoring achieved by the digital watermark technology; (2)Learning the real-time client-side television signal quality through the monitoring result, namely learning whether the image is clear or whether interfered by the noise and so on;(3)Preventing the...
