With the development of network technology and wireless communication technology and the popularization of mobile equipment, people urgent need to visit the data they need anywhere and any time, making any place possibly become their work place and enhancing their work efficiency. Therefore, the demand of many mobile applications such as mobile office system is day by day intense. However, it results in mobile device always online is not realistic that the mobile equipment is instable and the wireless network infrastructure's present situation is poor. Mobile users need to do The business about consulting and signing the information under the off-line working conditions many times. How to make up the unreliable weakness of the wireless network and develop a mobile application which has the function of off-line disposal has become the focus of attention of the mobile software developers.This paper mainly does the research on a client supporting platform which has the function of off-line disposal in mobile office system. It is a key to realize a truly mobile office system.Firstly, the paper summarizes the developing actuality of current mobile applications such as mobile office system. It explains how important it is to develop a client supporting platform which has a function of off-line disposal in mobile application systems. Secondly, it puts forward a basic frame and design ideas of the client supporting platform on the basis of introducing some related theories. It also introduces the application and realization of the five key technologies in detail. The five key technologies includes the mobile database technology, the synchronization technology, the security technology, the J2ME wireless development technology and the off-line proxy technology. Finally, the paper has a sum-up and discusses the problem that mobile applications face and the developing foreground. It also proposed the places which we should improve in the future.
