Design Of System Architecture And Implementation Of Multi-CCD Professional Scanner's Driver Software

This paper introduces an architecture and realization of multi-CCD professional scanner. Because of something especial, professional scanners are very different with home-scanners and office-scanners in hardware and driver software, such as the switch of device and image combine. In order to build a professional scanner, a lusty, steady and of good compatibility system architecture is becoming the core of all work. In the period of working with professional scanner at HighDig Inc, to build multi-CCD professional scanner, by research the work principle of scanner, characteristics of professional scanner and some communication protocol, put forward a layered system architecture based on modularization. From bottom to top, the system is plotted out bus driver layer, device function driver layer, communication layer and user-interface. Each layer provides service to the layer above by interface style. To achieve expect result, in realization, the Fa?ade and Singleton design patterns are used. By testing, the system architecture discussed in this paper satisfied the system requirement analysis in advance, and would provide reference a practice value for similar system.
