At present there exists two ways to equipment remote monitor and control. One is based on PSTN. The other is based on Internet , which takes standard Internet browser (for example, IE) as the client graphic interface.The article builds a Internet-based remote system which based on IP exchange server and low-level Internet communication interface; develops a TCP/IP-based application protocol which is used to transfer data on the Internet; develops system software.The system adopts a "center-IP exchange server-field" structure. The center and field first exchanges IP address through IP exchange server, then builds a direct data transfer channel. The management policy for monitor and control graphic interface makes only necessary field real-time data transferred and improves the system running performance.The article designs system software. The software running on IP exchange server provides IP exchange service; the field software monitors and controls equipment , interacts with center and communications with different PLC hardware by it's OPC-based data read and write system; the center software has the capability of dealing multi field users at one time, and can get fault data and historical data from field.The article implements system software on Windows platform using Visual c++: analyses key implemental technology , describes main class definition and data structure and provides parts of source codes.
