CBTC is Communication Based Train Control System. The system is based on wireless communication techonogy to achieve two-way information transmission. The benefits of using CBTC lies in: reducing system equipment costs, improving the system security, increased the system performance, improving transport capacity. Data tranmission system is the core of CBTC system to achieve two-way data transmission between ground and car devices. CBTC represents the development direction of the rail transit column control technology. It has the world rail transit industry favour.Wireless local-area Network (WLAN) is combined computers and wireless communication technology. Applying wireless communication technology, it can establish the Local Network within the scope of certain. It can make users high-speed data transmission via radio frequency technology to get rid of the cable media medium problems. Especially the IEEE802.11n stradand has the highest 600M bandwidth, released in October 2009. Therefore, the feasibility study of CBTC based IEEE802.11n has very important significance. The paper includes four aspects: CTBC, IEEE802.11n, channel modeling, outdoor test. First, the paper expounds CBTC, DCS and the wireless communication standards of those systems. Second, the paper introducts IEEE802.11n standard and focuse on the research key research of WLAN IEEE802.11n standard physical layer and MAC layer. Third, the paper analyses the high-speed mobile radio channel, builds simulation of IEEE802.11n stardand mobility combining the characteristics of IEEE802.11n stardand. Finally, the paper finished the test of highway IEEE802.11n mobility. Through physical mobility of IEEE802.11n simulation and highway IEEE802.11n mobility test, this paper argues that IEEE802.11n can serve as wireless transmission medium application in CTBC.
