To fully enhance the technology of tobacco pest monitoring, forecasting and prevention and control during the tobacco cultivation management process, software technology ,which is used to build the early warning system of tobacco pests to monitor the growing state of tobacco ,has became one of the important researches of the tobacco cultivation and production management. At present, people are paying more and more attentions to the application of tobacco pest early warning system for tobacco enterprises in the production of tobacco. However, the existing tobacco pest early alarm systems have many disadvantages, such as none-standardized early warning and control system, less of functions, poor interaction and low efficiency. Besides, the processing of information is not in time and it is difficult to deploy and upgrade tobacco pest early warning system. In this paper, data collection on tobacco pests, the formation of early warningsurvey map and the dynamic line graph are applied for tobacco companies. Silverlight and WCF service-oriented technology are used to build the B/S mode tobacco pest warning System (TPASYS). In Browser, Silverlight technology is used to generate early alarm map of tobacco pests and draw a line chart of pest dynamics. The map and chart play a key role in releasing the prevention and control measures and serving the diagnosing of experts. In server layered structure is used, and the WCF service is applied to accomplish the remote data communication between the early warning chart data on the server and Silverlight application on the browser. The system can meet the needs of operations management from the tobacco sector and has rich interface, strong interaction for operation, running efficiency and so on. Besides, it can enrich the experience of users greatly and upgrade the efficiency and decision-support level of department of tobacco management.The main contents are as follows:①Aiming at that the research background and the current research situation of TPASYS, the practical application and the theoretical basis during the growth of tobacco are analyzed.②Aiming at that the functional and non functional requirements of TPASYS, the drawbacks in the early alarm graphics, drawings dynamic line and statistics functions in tobacco pests are analyzed ③After analyzing the needs, TPASYS is designed and divided into WCF service interface layer, data access layer, business logic and Web interface performance multilayer structures, and then the detail design for the layer module are given too.④After studying LINQ, database access technology, which belongs to Framework3.5, the method ,which is used to access the underlying database, is encapsulated in database access layer of multi-layer architecture.⑤After studying WCF technology, the communication of data, which are from WCF service interface layer of multi-layer architecture and the early warning function modules of TPASYS, are accomplished between browser application and server.⑥After studying Silverlight3.0 technology, some graphics drawing and control data encapsulation method of TPASYS are implemented. Then functions of alarming graphics, dynamic line mapping and count data of pests are accomplished.The practical deployment of applications shows that the tobacco pests early alarm system has important theoretical significance and practical values on early alarm and high interactive and strong ability of data processing and real-time dissemination to tobacco industry.
