Infusion is an indispensable medical treatment in hospital.Currently, because of lacking economical and effective automatic measuring and control equipment,medical works have to ward the patient.This aggravates the patient's mental burden and the nursing persons'working burden. This also handicaps the synthesis management of the whole inpatient area.Based on the above reason,we developed a real-time detecting control system to detecting dripping speed and infusion level.This system could detect the drip speed of infusion equipment automatically. When the infusion fluid is dripping up and when the infusion speed is much slower or faster,the system would gaves alarm signal.At the same time,the speed signal of each bed could be conveyed to dispensary and could be displayed on the upper computer.According to the above requirements,a solution which is to design a liquid drip control system based on infrared ray inspect technology,microcomputer technology,computer network technology and intelligent fuzzy control technology was provided.Through this solution,the function of inspecting and modulating the infusion speed automatically and supervising the remainder medicine in the bottle will be realized.Firstly,infrared ray inspect technology was adopted to eliminate the disturbance of the surrounding light source,because it is difficult to measure the infusion speed.Then through investigating the structure of liquid dripping control system,the elementary principle of the control system and the relevant algorithm,we now that it exist non-linearity between the bottle altitude and the infusion speed in the infusion process,we now that it is difficult to construct accurate mathematical model.So the author adopts fuzzy control method and emulate it in this system.In addition,the software and hardware in the slaver workstation which is based on Freescale single-chip computer was also developed.Utilizing the result of the research,the author designed a intelligent infusion system which is based on Ethernet master-slaver supervisory network. Through experiments,it is indicated that the measurement of the infusion speed is accurate,the respond of the infusion speed adjustment is rapid,the static error is small,the liquid level alarming output signal is reliable and accurate.
