The article start with the Transmission Electron Microscope,briefly introduce the TEM knowledge. And then analyse the impact factor of the TEM resolution. The analysis found that the photosource monochromatic has become a choke point to improve the resolution of the existing TEM. Therefore,in order to effectively improve the resolution of the existing TEM,the electron beam should give a fundamental change in the mechanism. The main studies are as follows:Briefly describe the process of generation and development of the microscope, through the study found that chang the form of the optical microscope photosource in mechanism can greatly improve the resolution of the microscope,consequently we produce the electron microscope. In order to improve the existing TEM resolution, the paper presents a idea of manufacturing a new photosource,namely through the photoelectric effect,using laser excitated the monovalent metal and alkali metals under room temperature can produce the photoelectron. We use the photoelectron as as a new photosource of the existing TEM.The electronenergy and the correlated properties of the monovalent metal and alkali metals under room temperature are analysised and ananlysised some problems by quanta theory. The monochromatic small focus photoelectron beam simulated by using sigle-model certain frequency technic radiation laser replaces the electron beam photosource used in TEM. The monochromatic small focus photoelectron beam possess more advantages than the field emission electron beam at homochromatism. Thus,using the monochromatic small focus beam as a new photosource can effectively improve the existing TEM resolution.For this idea,we design a series of different but related experiments. We use the control variables method doing a series of experiments to identify the best correspondence laser and metal that can improve the resolution of the TEM. And experimental results are analyzed and predicted.According to our large number of theoretical and experimental analysis,we conclude that the new monochromatic photoelectron source that we proposed in the paper can effectively improve the current TEM point resolution.
