Watermark technology presents a new solution for protecting copyright of digital works. Scholars and experts put forward lots of algorithms according to various kinds of digital objects needing protection.A New Chinese text zero-watermark algorithm based on binary bit theory is presented through studying deeply Chinese text features and recognizing the shortages of nowadays text digital watermark. This Algorithm produces abstract from original text according to text architecture, and then produces watermark from text abstract and adds watermark into original text. The watermark information as register code must be registered and authenticated in register center and have the time stamp based on system time. When copyrights of digital works lead to depute, the time stamp and watermark information can fully convinces layer that who is in possession of the copyrights.Different from other watermark algorithms, in this algorithm mentioned above the content of text need not be modified when loading, the watermark stems from text abstract, not depending on character features and text format. It is confirmed from experiments that the algorithm presented in this paper is robust, transparent. Not only can the integrity of text content be protected, but it is safe under attacks. Considering its theoretical and practical value in protecting Chinese text copyrights, it is beyond other algorithms in more ways than one.
