The Research Of RESTful Web Services In The Resource Sharing Platform

With the information, communication and network technology becoming one of the world's fastest developing, the most active and widely used high-tech fields, the construction of resource sharing platform is also becoming more and more necessary and important. The resource of information and communication has its own characteristics, such as large amount of data, data isomerization and so on, and build such a platform which is distributed, advanced, efficient and flexible have great difficulties. Most of the existing platforms have various problems, and these problems focus on the narrow scope of services, poor compatibility, and duplicate construction. Some of the problems can be solved to a certain extent by integration the existing resource based on the Web Service technology and building a resource sharing platform. But the traditional Web Service based on SOAP cannot make full use of the potential of Web as a distributed programming platform, so this paper selects the RESTful Web Service for the information and communication resource sharing platform.In this paper, we at first analyzed the requirements of the platform, then designed the architecture of it, and we designed and developed the platform using the RESTful Web Service. We at first did some research for the background of the resource sharing platform and the existing problems, and selected RESTful Web Service as the key technology of the platform.Then we analyzed the requirements of the platform and gave the detail of the requirements, and gave the general and functional architecture. Next the we did some research for the Web Service interfaces and designed the Web Service interfaces for the platform based on our analysis. And considering the characteristics of the platform, we proposed an AJAX and REST-based service framework, and applied it to the design and implementation of portal. At last, we did some research for the mechanism for the RESTful Web Services' description and discovery, proposed a way with the semantic descriptions to describe the RESTful Web Service, and gave an algorithm to discover the service and implemented it.
