Virtualization is the abstract of computing resources, has become the basis of industry's resources sharing process technology. This paper facing the current informatization development process of universities, which causing more and more servers in the campus network, complicated management, low resource utilization and difficult data backup, etc. It mainly researches relevant strategies, principle and realization technologies of information sharing virtualization.This paper firstly analyzes the defects of the traditional information-sharing way in universities(for example, one-to-one correspondence two-level physical sites of departments, offices which switches in the campus network center support, their free rate of recourses exceed 90%),based on the analysis of the key technical details of virtualization, we mainly discussed server virtualization. We explore design and implementation of the technologies of information sharing virtualization in our campus network, and evaluate possible efficiency, energy consumption, reliability and safety.Finally, according to information virtualization sharing strategy, we finished the simulation based on laboratory platform. The results proved that virtualization can raise resource utilization, information sharing degree, efficiency, save costs around 50%, reduce energy consumption by more than 80% to the development process of university informatization.
