The rapid development of information era promotes the inter-media, making it prevailing and diverse. Blog have become the fourth communication method after E-mail, BBS forum and instance chat. Teenagers has accounted for much of it, therefore, it is quite vital to study the Teenagers Blog practically and theoretically. The main research content of this thesis is about the gender differences and similarities of the language use and online identity of the teenager bloggers, according to these, it is better to understand the life and mind status of teenagers with different gender, understand their cognition and valuation, understand their self-identity and inner feeling of themselves. At the same time, the article also provides advice and predication about the research development of this area.The research methods are various, including the questionnaire, comparison, examples, document collection, combining with Linguistics, Pedagogy, Psychology as well as the Gender Theory and making hypothesis about the difference and similarities of the language use and identity of the teenager bloggers, then proving it by analyzing the data and finally making conclusions. We study online identity of the teenagers bloggers from personal information, online name choice, avatar selection and emotive features, while we study the language use of teenager bloggers from topic selection, language style, language emotion, frequency of use and the number of characters used, offensive language use, and the meaning of language conveyed.The research shows that teenager bloggers are more inclined to use virtual identity. They see blog as a way of showing themselves, expressing their minds and feelings. What they frequently talked about are coming from the real life, presenting the true emotion and real individual. The differences and similarities of teenager blogs have broken up the conventional gender language orientation and stereotype,moving into a more equal, free and unique direction.
