With the rapid development of Internet, the Autonomy and initiative of people increase a lot. Many kinds of User Generated Content appear,including Micro-blog, blog, BBS, SNS social connecting websites and so on. They all add so much fun to the Internet society. But less enough understanding about the motivation of User Generated Content, led to the target is not clear and improper method. So we can't reach further consensus with users, in order to get better development of UGC. This is why the thesis raise the research question "What are the motivation of Internet User Generated Content"This thesis is an empirical research on exploring the motivation of UGC Including the motivations of users, the impact of internet usage intensity to UGC, also the impact of education to UGC to survey the motivation of UGCThis research adopts exploratory factor analysis, which is based on the data of 306 effective samples from the netizens in Nanjing city. By analyzing the samples,5 motivations have been extracted, including convenience, interaction, social interaction, self-presentation and to meet, herd mentality.
