| Based on the development experience of TD-SCDMA and other mobile technology, terminal is always the weak link of the industrialization and commercialization, which is restricting the pace of industrial development. In order to maintain the advantage and the competitiveness of TD-SCDMA and its evolution, to ensure and sustain the evolution of TD-SCDMA, the need for the research and development of TD-LTE technology is urgent. As the development work is heavy, and has longer period and more complex process, it could become the bottleneck of the TD-LTE commercial development. In order to avoid this, the terminal conformance testing development is a key problem by international organization for standardization 3 GPP.This paper relies on two sub-items "TD-LTE TTCN Test Specification Research" and "TD-LTE TTCN Test Suite Development" of the National Major Science and Technology Project "the Next-Generation Broadband Wireless Mobile Communication Network". Its aim is to achieve the testcase design of TD-LTE terminal protocol conformance testing and the development work which is based on TTCN-3 (Testing and Test Control Notation version 3).In this paper, first it introduces the background and significance to the research; second, the project involved the development of the theoretical basis, including the system architecture of TD-LTE, NAS and RRC of the air interface protocol stack, the thoughts and methods to design testcases, is introduced. And it is the first time to put the software design-Scenario Analysis into the design of testcases, which makes the testcases more comprehensive and effective; and then to analyze the both study sites. The first site-to design testcases of TD-LTE terminal protocol conformance testing is based on the Scenario Analysis, the other study site-the development of testcases by TTCN-3 is based on the first study site and the protocol architecture to make a comprehensive analysis on the thoughts on the development and the code-related skills. |
