Nowadays, as the mobile internet is rapidly developing and smart phone's functions are enhancing, Application softwares on the smartphone appear one after another, but the function of phone contacts hasn't change fundamentally. Contacts of traditional mobile phone communication platforms contain the contacts'names and phone numbers only. If we can implement a unified mobile phone communication platform, on which the contacts have the information of Twitter, QQ and MSN, the users can communicate with each other by sending and receiving Micro-blogs and IM.IN this case the users'requirements of social interaction can be fully met in the mobile internet era.The paper selects the twitter service as the research object, which is one of most popular social networking services at present.Because of the twitter service opening the REST API, we can realize a interface library on the smart phone platform to be called by the phone contacts application program, based on which we can implement the unified mobile phone communication platform.This paper first introduces the research background, status and content, and introduces related technologies of this topic, which contain twitter and twitter REST API, and Windows Mobile smart phone operation systerm with related development technologies. Secondly it analyzes the twitter interface technology's requirements and designs the service process of the twitter interface technology. Then it fulfills the core task, which is based on the above-mentioned preparation. The task is as follows, to design the overall architecture and every module of the mobile client software based on the twitter interface technology and to package the twitter interface module into a DLL, which exposes the function interfaces to be called by the user interface program. Finally, the application program generates a CAB file which is deployed and installed on the CHS Windows Mobile 6 Professional Emulator, then to design the test cases to test the functions of the application program and to show the running results of some functions' realization. On the above basis the paper summarizes the research achievement and points out the improvement aspects in the future work.
