| In the enterprise application systems, the development of the new system, upgrading of old and new systems, as well as the normal system maintenance, inevitably involves a lot of data migration work. Oracle Database is one of the world's most widely used databases. It is not only the creators of the relational database, but also client/server architecture, distributed database and grid computing advocate and leader. The commercial software package base on Oracle database, has been widely used in government departments, telecommunications, postal services, public security, finance, insurance, energy, electricity, transportation, science, education, petrochemical, aerospace, aviation and other industries. When these System, system upgrade, data migration is inevitable, the study of data migration under Oracle environment is valuable.The purpose of this paper is to study Oracle data migration techniques, and to accomplish data migration of China ISBN system upgrade.This paper is an Oracle Database, PL/SQL, data migration technology research, including the migration process, migration method, migration policy, migration, and migration issues should pay attention to the efficiency. Then, with China ISBN system upgrade to analyze data migration, including user needs analysis, system status, data status,data structural comparison, data cleansing and standardization, batch migration, data accuracy of testing and data migration experience.
