Research On Image Processing And Measurement Technology Based On National Instruments

During the process of conquest and transform the nature, in order to overcome the limitations of their own ability, human create a lot of machines to replace their own work. We feel surrounded by visual the location and the brightness of objects. Image photogrammetric is a process based on NI platform which use images to create and restore the real world model, Then understanding the real world. As the feature of continuous, non-contact and non-destructive, digital image already had a wide range of development and application in many fields.In this paper, we studied basic principles of image processing and measurement, proposed sub-pixel edge measurement methods based on Least square method and feature-based image matching method. Edge is the most important aspect during the process. Through study a variety of existing algorithms and sub-pixel method of Edge detection, the author discussed their respective advantages and disadvantages. For the characteristics of this project, the paper proposed a method based on least squares methods of sub-pixel edge measurement. Based on classical edge detection arithmetic, obtained the exact size of image with sub-pixel least-square method. The method is simple, fast and achieved the desired results.Image matching is another key point in this paper in order to simplify the image measurement. We use template matching to found the same area of the image under test. Thus setting up the relative coordinate system of the image which is good for the local area dimensions measurement of the image. So we proposed a feature-based image matching method to match the feature points, match the images with great rotation angle.To conclude, combinative the theory mentioned. We designed the image processing and measuring system. Implemented the functions such as image coordinates recognition, measurement of local area and a group of irregular pictures automatically detected.
