The anti-jamming waveform design and coherent processing technologies are widely used in the new system of radar, which greatly enhances the anti-jamming capability of modern radar, and makes the traditional interference measures become invalid relatively. So the research of effective interference to enemy's radar becomes an important topic. Smart noise jamming is an effective means to interfere the new system of radar currently, which has the characteristics of both deceived interference and noise disturbance, can make a better use of interference energy, and has a good interference performance. Therefore making deep study in it is of great strategic significance.Based on the existing research results, a more comprehensive performance simulation is carried out in this paper. Firstly, the concept and characteristics of smart noise jamming are introduced. Then in the face of LFM signal and PCM signal, three kinds of smart noise jammings, which are the convolution modulation smart noise, the digital multi-sample delay smart noise and the intermittent sampling repeater jamming signal, have been studied in the paper. The paper focuses on the time-frequency analysis for their respective simulations of interference properties. Finally the simulation of interference effect on the system model of the pulse compression radar is made, and the quantitative analysis of interference effect is given. Compared with the traditional radar jamming, the advantages of smart noise jamming are pointed out.
