With the development of computer techniques, qua a traditional tool, the express ways of map became more and more diversification. From analog map to electronic map, from thready map to photo map, from 2D map to 3D map, the map changes a lot. Because of the merit of intuitionistic and understandability etc, the 3D map became more and more popular. Based on the technology of lenticular screen stereo display, aim at how to use lenticular screen and pair of stereoscopic pictures to display stereoscopic map, the paper did an embedded research and explore. Based on analyzed the cause of affect lenticular screen stereoscopic map effect and quality, some ideas was brought forward to improve stereoscopic map quality, and several models were set up to adapt it. Several pivotal techniques were resolved which counterwork the quality elevation of stereoscopic map, the central content as follows:1. The facture flow and elements of general lenticular screen stereoscopic image were expounded, and it was applied to the stereoscopic map. Bases the obtain methods of general lenticular screen stereoscopic image list, link three dimension terrain we brought forward the obtain image list channels and methods of the lenticular screen stereoscopic map. The apply object and area were analyzed, and several methods of append symbol were brought forward.2. With analyze the lacks of compose mode of raster image, build on a new compose mode without data loss and it take small space. It conveniences for image transmit and storage.3. After analyzed the elements of AM screening and FM screening, link the trait of raster image, summarized some abuses by use general halftone screening. It contains the alternation of screening angles, easy to form moire; high screening lines cause the halftone became small, and it brought difficulty to the printing; the screening modes in existence, can mix the different angle of view image together, the, consequently resulted in the stereoscopic image out of focus.4. In allusion to the problems of general screening modes, brought forward the converse raster image compose model, low screening lines also reduce the difficulty of printing. Further more this model could solve the problems of halftone cell could not snap lenticular screen cell and the mix of pixels.5. Contrapose the raster image established a new halftone model which looks like a pillar. It mostly solved the problem of pixels of different angle of view image mix, and the problem of the general halftone cell could not snap lenticular screen cell. Furthermore the dot gain of the columnar halftone was smaller than general halftones.6. Two kinds of halftone models were built, there were unilateralism error diffusion dithering model and hop pattern error diffusion dithering model. The mainly problems they needed to solve were the less gray level.7. Several aspects which influence overprint precision of raster image were analyzed, they are the plate cylinder radius,transmutation of plate,press direction of the paper and press direction of the raster image. The transverse overprint error formulas of the raster image were deduced. The reasons of overprint error caused by the transfiguration of paper were analyzed. Colligate these reasons of overprint error, point out raster image should landscape orientation when plate copying, choose the paper with small transfiguration and less sop up, strict demand the direction of fibre must perpendicular to the press direction.
