In the paper, Sr3Al2O6:Eu2+,Sr1-xCaxAl2O6:Eu2+ and Sr3Al2O6:Eu3+ phosphors are synthesized by the high temperature solid state method. The effect of calcining temperature, gas flowing rate, calcining time and fluxing agent on crystal structure and luminescence of the sample is studied. The structure and luminescence of the sample are characterized by means of XRD and fluorescence spectrophotometer. The results show optimum calcining condition of Sr3Al2O6:Eu2+ is 1300℃, retaining temperature for 3 hours, with boric acid 2%, Obtained samples have better luminescent properties. The emission spectra is broadband spectrum, with half-height width of about 70nm. The emission peak changes with different x value. When x value is between 0 and 0.9, the emission peak is at nearly 590nm to 628nm.. Excitation spectrum is a broadband spectrum of 460nm. Eu2+ ion content have important impact on the luminous intensity, and as the Eu2+ion content is 1mol%, the luminous intensity reaches its maximum. Optimum calcining condition of Sr1-xCaxAl2O6:Eu2+ is 1300℃, retaining temperature for 2 hours, with boric acid 1%, Obtained samples have better luminescent properties. The excitation spectrum of the sample is broadband spectrum at 460nm, and its emission spectrum is broadband spectrum peaking at 595-620nm. When the Eu2+ ion doping concentration is 1mol%, the luminous intensity of the sample is enhanced.
