With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the timeliness, accuracy, security, and traceability of the information delivery become the premise and the necessary conditions of the management. But in the area of information management in Chinese supermarkets, it is still has followed a relatively backward management. Therefore, today, when merchandising industry faces increasingly intense competition, improveing the enterprise internally and all aspects of the supply chain management, scheduling and resource allocation, and then quickly adapt to the customers new needs and new market opportunities is the decisive factor in competitive success for enterprise. And the rapid and effective implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is proven to be the most effective methods to improve the competitiveness of enterprises by practice. At the same time, it can improve the level of computer information management in China that two-dimensional barcode technology is used in Chinese supermarkets.This paper is mainly analyzes some basic functions and composition of the product information management system. According to the characteristics of enterprises, sets purchase, sales and invoicing analysis in one, including system requirements analysis, system structure, function model and database model analysis. The application of two-dimensional bar code technology in the supermarket information management system, mainly starts from the academic concept, basic ideas, research method, the study of the technical line and the way of implementation. It introduces the functions in the application of the system module and the desired results of the two-dimensional bar code. The system uses advanced distributed three-tier network architecture, the entire system is divided into multiple modules, which are described separately. Upper module depends on the data and functions of the lower module. The system use SQL Server 2000 as back-end database systems, which is a new type of database that supports multi-user with high performance, reliability and scalability, fitting for all kinds of needs for medium and small size of data. Front-end which provides a steady and speedy completion of this commodity inventory management system development tasks, is designed in Delphi 7.0 programming language, making use of component-based programming approach, fast Pascal compiler. Connected by Delphi 7.0 and SQL Server 2000, the data is secure, the storage and query is fast.The design process meets user requirements to the full, such as friendly interface, simple operation, maintainability, fully functional. This article mainly introduces the realization of the actual development application, to achieve the data consistency and security, full-featured applications program. It is able to provide users with adequate information and fast search tool and reduces the amount of labor management department, to achieve systematic management, standardization, automation, and bring in comprehensive management and reduce management costs, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, the system has strong practical and targeted to meet a typical information management system (MIS) requirements.This paper has pointed out in the background of the research, the significance of open questions and the arrangement of the chapters. And then it describes the detail of the system analysis in system development and design notes, and system operation and coding at the supermarket information management system. In the study of two-dimensional barcode technology in the supermarket information management system, it introduces the basic ideas of academic ideas and takes the research methods, technical route, the implementation of the program, and the functional description of each module and Overall system structure diagram. At last, it gives the system testing and the experience Experience system design.
