Clinical Study On Treatment Of Vascular Spasm Of Hunt-Hess â… -â…£ Subarachnoid Hemorrhage With Combination Of Traditional Chinese And Western Medicines

Purpose:Observe and evaluate the clinical curative effect of the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine(The patients were treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction based on routine Western medicine treatment) on patients with cerebral vasospasm of Subarachnoid hemorrhagic of Hunt-Hess I-IV Material and method:60 cases of patients with cerebral vasospasm were randomly divided into 2 groups of Subarachnoid hemorrhagic.30 cases in the treatment group, 30 cases in the control group. The control group were treated with routine treatment(Nimodipine).The treatment group were treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction based on routine treatment(Nimodipine), 1day,3 days,7 days,14 days,21 days after onset, the two groups were compared with Improvement of symptoms,and Mean blood flow velocity of Middle cerebral artery(Vm),and cerebral vessels spasm index(linde-gand index). By means of variance analysis, chi square test and other statistical analysis methods, combined with professional knowledge, evaluate the clinical curative effect of the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine(The patients were treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction based on routine Western medicine treatment) on patients with cerebral vasospasm of Subarachnoid hemorrhagic of Hunt-Hess I-IV Results:1、The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),by comparing the two sets of data of rate of symptoms(severe headache,headache and vomiting,hemiplegia),during the course of 21 days of treatment. There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),by comparing the two sets of data of rate of symptoms(disturbance of consciousness, neck’s stiff,aphasia,twitch). it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a better effect on improving symptoms(severe headache,headache and vomiting,hemiplegia) than the treatment of simple western medicine,and the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine have similar curative effect on improving symptoms(disturbance of consciousness, neck’s stiff,aphasia,twitch). 2、The difference was statistically significant(t=-2.589,P=0.012,P<0.05),by comparing the two sets of data of duration(day)of headache, and it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a better effect on shortening the duration(day) of cerebral vasospasm than the treatment of simple western medicine during the course of 21 days of treatment 3、Under the premise of 3 days of treatment,both the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine can improve the VM of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV.There was no statistically significant difference(P=0.081,>0.05),by comparing the two sets of data(improvement of Vm),and it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine have similar curative effect on improving Vm of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV under the premise of 3 days of treatment. Under the premise of 7 days of treatment,both the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine can improve the VM of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV. The difference was statistically significant(P=0.00,<0.05),by comparing the two sets of data(improvement of Vm), and it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a better effect on improving Vm of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV than the treatment of simple western medicine under the premise of 7 days of treatment. Under the premise of 14 days of treatment,both the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine can improve the VM of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV. The difference was statistically significant(P=0.00,<0.05),by comparing the two sets of data(improvement of Vm), and it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a better effect on improving Vm of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV than the treatment of simple western medicine under the premise of 14 days of treatment. Under the premise of 21 days of treatment,both the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine can improve the VM of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV.There was no statistically significant difference(P=0.412,>0.05),by comparing the two sets of data(improvement of Vm),and it means the combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the treatment of simple western medicine have similar curative effect on improving Vm of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV under the premise of 21 days of treatment. Conclusion:The combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a better effect on improving symptoms as severe headache,headache and vomiting,hemiplegia,and Vm of patients of Hunt-Hess I-IV than the treatment of simple western medicine, and there is a certain correlation with the course of treatment.
